Medieval Music, Medieval Woman

I have a real love for medieval music.  It takes me back in time.
Today I am adding in a new item to my Garden of Simples Etsy Shop.  It's a small decoupage print of a medieval woman in a kitchen.

And just this morning I see that Magnatune.com has newly released a medieval music album called ¡Viva la Pepa!  You can listen to the album on this page, simply press the play button on the Magnatune Player.  Magnatune has released all six of my albums.  Please visit their site to hear fantastic and exquisite music selections.

¡Viva la Pepa! draws on musical traditions from Spain, France, and the Sephardic diaspora, covering a musical timeline from the Middle Ages to the present. The group's signature sound from reflective to rousing can be attributed to the haunting and unique combination of the vocals and the hurdy-gurdy. The multi-instrumentalists delight and entertain with a musical sleight of hand that includes guitar, accordion, hurdy-gurdy, Spanish lute, bagpipes, psaltery, tromba marina, recorders, cajon, darabuka, davul and more.

Enjoy!

I am having such a good time with my Garden of Simples shop.  One of the things I enjoy most is photographing the items.  Lately I've been adding Vintage clothes and linens.  The photos shown were taken in an upstairs closet that has a window.  The sun was shining through so beautifully that I just kept finding more things in my linen pile to photograph!

It's easy to purchase items through http://gardenofsimples.etsy.com.  I now take credit cards as well as Paypal.  There are millions of users on http://etsy.com.  You'll find wonderful vintage items, handmade items and supplies for making all sorts of things.  Join in the fun!

It's been a busy spring!  We have just listed MeadowHouse for Sale.  In order to put it on the market, everything had to be cleaned out.  Oh my.  It's lovely living with simplicity once it's all clean.

I've been adding vintage goods in my GARDEN OF SIMPLES shop on Etsy.com.

The meadow this morning.  Lupins galore!
